Understand the needs

Together, we’ll discuss where you are on the road to organizational excellence. We will discuss your organization’s values, goals, strengths/weaknesses, and successes/failures. We’ll develop a list of needs and rank them. The prioritization will focus on items that offer the most advantage with the least cost and disruption for the organization.

Develop a plan

I will work with you to develop a plan to meet our recognized needs. We will then find the internal and external resources needed to implement that plan. We will discover what success looks like.

Implement the plan

I will help oversee and coach the plan’s implementation. If necessary, we’ll find and implement mid-course adjustments.

Review the results

We’ll review the improvements to decide whether we have achieved our desired success. Based on that review, we will make future improvements.

Who are you, and what experience do you have?

I have worked for 35 years in semiconductor manufacturing. I’ve owned a bicycle trailer manufacturing company and am a partner in a bicycle store. I have created individual manufacturing process steps and sequences of steps. I released new processes and products to manufacturing. I improved processes within the manufacturing environment. I have transferred processes from development to manufacturing within a site, from site to site, and company to company.

For the last ten years, I have championed techniques to improve quality and organizational excellence.

I believe every individual wants to bring their best to work daily. People and organizations will be successful when efficient, aligning, and empowering systems are in place,

What is product quality?

The quality of a product is measured by how well it satisfies and meets the customer’s expectations. Very high-quality products will “delight” customers by having no unexpected problems or defects and desirable features.

What is a quality system?

A Quality System is a set of processes and tools. These techniques and tools are used to “delight” customers, corporate officers, and shareholders. They also aim to please employees, regulators, and an organization’s community. It involves making sure that the right quality techniques are available. This ensures quality planning and organizational excellence. Additionally, quality improvement and quality control are all in place.
