About me.
I’ve worked in high-tech (semiconductor) and low-tech (bicycle trailer) manufacturing. I’ve developed manufacturing techniques and followed them to high-volume process improvement. I’ve transferred technologies from R&D to manufacturing within a site, from site to site within a company, between companies and countries. I’ve developed quality improvement techniques for managers, engineers, and operators.
I’ve advised senior staff on how to align their organization to their goals and vision. That is, to create a hierarchical alignment between individual activities, short-term goals and metrics, long-term goals and metrics, vision, and values. This leads to a high level of autonomous coordination and organizational efficiency.
I have a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering and hold ASQ certifications as a Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence and Quality Engineer.
